Gladiators: Survival in Rome is an Action RPG with survival game mechanics and city-building aspects. You are a fugitive from Caesar's army, and will venture deep into the wilderness of Ancient Europe.
Free slaves from cruel soldiers, explore mythic secrets in barbarian and uncharted lands and build a city of free, surviving men. Craft your weapons and armor from what you have gathered, then slay the king's legions and conquer the Roman Empire!
You're not alone: Thousands of other legionnaires yearn for glory and recognition of the Roman emperor. Team up with fellow survivors or fight rivals in the arena, for you to become the greatest Gladiator before the eyes of the citizens of mighty Rome!

We have built a world in Ancient Rome with myriads of puzzle pieces from a single hand-drawn pebble to procedurally generated maps for players to conquer and give the journey purpose. This game has potential. It's fun. However the energy bar only refills to 100. Some genius who replys to our reviews doesn't play the game obviously. There's options to get more energy. The devs make every hit expensive. Recycle items? 3 hits at 5 energy a hit. That's 15 energy gone. The game revolves around energy use and it's expensive. I bought 2500 energy at $10. That didn't last 10 minutes. Then there's a pop up that blocks your view till you buy more energy. Not worth spending your money.

Game is great!! but whats with all the high demands in quests... material requirements are outrageous... and you only get 100energy.. which only cuts down about 5-6 trees.. i get there is meet for energy but also not every animal kill rewards you meat.. i wantt o play but the game just throws way too much material and energy purchases knowing that you are going to need it.

It's alright, but the art style is just so ugly. It's not about HD graphics, it's the ugly style. Also you'll run into serious inventory issues very early in the game even with the early town upgrades that let you store some stuff. There are better games for me to waste my time on unfortunately so I drop this game without looking back.
